Amrutdhara Water Billing Service

The following points summarize the terms and conditions that govern the usage of the water supply service and the accompanying **"Amrutdhara" mobile application**. By utilizing this service, the User agrees to comply with all rules and regulations stated herein.

I. Water Connection and Service

Connection Approval: Granting a new water connection is subject to the **approval and sanction** by the relevant water department or authority following a thorough document verification and check-up as per the prevailing rules and regulations.
Service Jurisdiction: The use of the water supply service and the "Amrutdhara" application is governed by the applicable laws and regulations, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts as per those laws.

II. Billing, Payment Timelines, and Disconnection

Payment Due Date and Disconnection: Users are required to settle the water bill payment **at least 15 days prior to the specified due date** mentioned on the bill. Failure to pay the outstanding bill amount by the specified due date may result in the relevant authority initiating action to **permanently close or temporarily disconnect the water meter connection** without further notice. Reconnection of the water supply will be subject to the clearance of all outstanding dues, along with any applicable penalties and reconnection charges as determined by the respective authority.

Dispute Resolution: Any discrepancy in the bill amount must be brought to the notice of the DMC's billing department immediately for necessary action.

III. Authorized Payment Methods (Strictly Enforced)

Official Channels Only: Payments for water usage can only be made through the following authorized channels:
- Online Payment: Via the official "Amrutdhara" mobile application (using secure payment gateway integration).
- Official Counters: Payments are accepted at the official, declared collection counters designated by the relevant water department or authority.
No Unauthorized Cash Transactions: The Corporation and the app **cannot handle or accept any other form of cash transactions or payments** made outside of the officially declared counters.
Agent Caution: Customers are strictly advised **not to pay cash to any individual or agent** claiming to represent the Corporation for collection purposes outside the authorized channels. **The Corporation will not be responsible** for payments made to unauthorized parties.

IV. Online Payment Liabilities and Refunds

Refund Claims: Any claim for a refund, chargeback, or double-payment reconciliation must be directed exclusively to the relevant water authority or service provider and not to the Payment Service Providers.
Transmission Risk: The User understands that personal payment data transmitted over the Internet may be susceptible to misuse/hacking, and DMC or the Payment Service Provider(s) **have no control over such matters.**
Limitation of Liability: DMC expressly disclaims any claim or liability that arises out of the provision of the Online Payment Service. The User is solely responsible for their conduct.
